SPRING EVENTS   School Nurse Training   In March at one of our school sites, we collaborated with Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County to conduct our first ever hands-on school nurses' training. We were excited to see that so many nurses are on a waiting list for future training!     Ayuda Dental Clinic   Our collaboration with Ayuda International continues to be a success. Our staff provide sealants for students, and parent education, at an Orange County school site, while other students receive operative services from the Ayuda team.

Free Parent Education Class

Bilingual parent Education presentations in oral health and nutrition are offered to qualifying schools in the daytime or evening.  The objective of the program is to improve the entire family’s overall health by empowering them with preventative health knowledge.  Oral health curriculum will include: the process of decay, the use of fluoride, sealants, proper brushing and flossing, and visiting the dentist as preventative agents.  Nutrition curriculum will include: healthy food choices, the new Pyramid, and physical activity.  Please contact us to schedule a presentation.
